FULTON - Madison Wright scored a goal in the second overtime to lift the Jones County Junior College Bobcats to a 2-1 victory over Itawamba Community College here Thursday afternoon in JCJC's season opener.
In the women's game, Itawamba posted a 5-2 decision over JCJC.
The Bobcat teams will be at home on Saturday against Northwest. The women's game begins at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Laurel Sportsplex, followed by the men's game at 6 p.m.

ELLISVILLE - Jones County Junior College scored 28 points in the second quarter and did not allow a first down until the third quarter en route to a 38-7 defeat of the Itawamba Community College Indians here Thursday night in the season opener at Bobcat Stadium/Sim Cooley Field.
