The JCJC Adult Education program offers adults the opportunity to obtain basic knowledge of Math, Social Studies, Science, Reading, Career Opportunities and Civic preparation. Training also includes preparation classes to help students obtain the high school equivalency exam (GED).Classes are designed to promote college entrance, vocational-technical education, employment and job promotion.
Who is eligible for the Adult Education Program?
The Adult Basic Education Programs are offered to adults who reside in the Jones County Jr. College District. The district is comprised of: Clarke, Covington, Greene, Jasper, Jones, Perry, Smith and Wayne Counties.
What is the cost?
The Adult Education classes are free of charge. The cost to take the GED test is $120.00 for the entire test or $30.00 per section.
