| IV Therapy Certification Course | |

| Event: | This course is designed to prepare qualified Licensed Practical Nurses to perform the expanded role of IV Therapy. The course will consist of 48 hours lecture (on campus) and 40 hours of clinical study. All lecture classes will be in the Home Health Building on the JCJC campus. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR CLASS. Class size will be a maximum of 30 students. The cost will be $85.00 per person which includes materials. | Event: | A "must attend" workshop for anyone wanting to start their own business. This is the first step for anyone interested in starting their own business. This course will cover the steps that you should take to prepare to start your business, including: o Researching your Business Idea o Taxes o Licensing o Financing o How to Write a Business Plan o Presenting your Plan to a Lender This workshop will save you hundreds of wasted hours and thousands of wasted dollars. |
| ServSafe Training August 19th | |

| Event: | ServSafe training is available to everyone. Participants must sign up one week prior to class date. Federal requirements for food handlers specify that anyone serving prepared food to the public must be certified. The ServSafe class at JCJC prepares the student for the certification and exam. Daytime class will consist of two days training and the exam will be given on the third day. Night class will consist of 4 days training and the exam will be given on the fifth day. JCJC has established a reputation as a leader in ServSafe certification training with an outstanding success rate. The cost of the course in $125. Payment must be made and books picked up one week prior to class and read before attending class to be able to keep pace with the class presentation.
