PELL GRANT (FAFSA)
All students are encouraged to apply for the FAFSA!
The Pell Grant is a federal grant awarded to undergraduate students, who have not received a baccalaureate degree, signifies financial need, and meets eligibility requirements. This grant does not have to be repaid, as long as the student remains enrolled more than 60% of the semester. No other need-based aid will be awarded until Pell Grant eligibility (need) has been determined.

This document assists applicants in preparing for the online FAFSA application. Print this document, and then fill out completely before applying online.

- School Code Search
The school code of the college planning to attend must be listed on the FAFSA in order for that college to obtain FAFSA results.

- Apply for PIN
It is highly recommended that students have access to the PIN before completing the online application. All students must obtain a PIN. In addition, if the student answers “No” to all the questions in Section 2 on the Pre-Application Worksheet, one parent must obtain a PIN. The PIN can be used each year to apply electronically.

Have the pre-application worksheet filled out completely or have Federal Tax Return and W-2’s on hand for the correct year.
