Department of Education's FAFSA On The Web

This site can be used to complete an online version of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition, this site can be used to correct an application previously submitted to the federal processor.

This website is the central online resource for establishing the PIN and obtaining information regarding the use of the PIN.

U.S. Department of Education Loan Repayment for Teachers
This site identifies a list of school districts and programs that qualify borrowers for cancellation and deferment benefits.

National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS)

NSLDS is the U.S. Department of Education's central database for student aid. It receives data from schools, agencies that guaranty loans, the Pell Grant program, and other federal programs. NSLDS provides a centralized, integrated view of Title IV loans and Pell grants that are tracked through their entire cycle; from aid approval through closure.

Social Security Administration

This is the official website of the U.S. Social Security Administration.  Students can obtain social security card information.

Internal Revenue Service
The IRS is the U.S. government agency responsible for tax collection and tax law enforcement. Students can contact the IRS to obtain federal tax return documents.

Federal School Code Search
Use this website to search for a federal school code.  Students must include on the FAFSA the federal school code of the institution planned to attend, in order for the institution to receive access to the FAFSA results.  Each institution has a school code.

FAFSA4caster

A tool used to help students and their families plan for college. The FAFSA4caster provides students with an early estimate of eligibility for federal student financial assistance.  Students considering furthering their education beyond high school can use this FREE tool to calculate eligibility for federal financial aid.

FastWeb's free scholarship search includes more than 400,000 scholarships worth more than $1 billion. FastWeb also offers expert advice on admissions, financial aid, selecting a major, choosing a career, and more.

College Answer (USA Funds)
 
This site offers access to a variety of financial aid resources to meet college needs. Find step-by-step tutorials on the entire "Go-to-College" process, from preparation to receiving and repaying loans. It also offers interactive tools to estimate college costs, expected contribution, and student-loan repayment costs.

Selective Service Registration

This is the selective service system and registration website for males in America.  Male students can register online and check registration status.  Virtually all men ages 18 through 25 must register.

Americorps
AmeriCorps is made up of three main programs: AmeriCorps State and National, AmeriCorps VISTA, and AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps). Through this website, students can obtain information regarding program requirements.
