FACULTY RECOGNITION PROGRAM
Information and Guidelines
The J.C.J.C. Foundation sponsors the Faculty Recognition Program to recognize faculty members who have excelled in teaching, college service, and community service. Please note all rules, guidelines, and time lines included below when preparing nomination or application form.
- Nomination forms may be printed off of the JCJC Foundation website. Additional copies will be available in the Foundation Office. Completed forms must be returned to the Foundation Office no later than Thursday, December 11, 2006, to be eligible for screening.
- Screening committee members will select five finalists from the nomination forms submitted by December 11. These five will be notified prior to Christmas break in order for application forms to be completed by the nominees and submitted to the Foundation Office no later than Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
- Selection committee members will conduct interviews with the five finalists. The following weights will be applied by committee members.
Application - 75%
Interview - 25%
Selection will be completed by March 1, 2007. The five finalists will be honored at a Faculty Appreciation Luncheon held on campus on Friday, March 9, 2007, prior to spring holidays. At that time, the winner will be announced. Monetary awards for finalists include:
Winner - $1,000.00
Finalists - $250.00
Publicity for the finalists of the Faculty Recognition Program will follow in area newspapers.
