Jones County Junior College has served its students and the Southeast Mississippi area well since its early beginnings as an agricultural high school in 1911.
An undying commitment to help students reach their potential has been the hallmark of JCJC. Faithfulness to maintaining quality programs that meet student needs as well as the needs of business and industry have kept JCJC's enrollment growing. Based on enrollment, Jones County Junior College is the largest single-campus two-year college in Mississippi.
Chartered in May, 1988, the Jones County Junior College Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation designed to accept tax-deductible gifts and bequests of cash, real estate, equipment, securities, life insurance, and other property. All gifts are used to enhance the high quality of education offered at JCJC.
