ACTIVITIES
A variety of opportunities for involvement are available to JCJC residence hall students.
The Student Government Association serves as an effective and responsible link between the student body and the administration.
Intramural Sports are a big part of campus life. Along with organized sports such as flag football and volleyball, the P.E. building is also open to students several nights a week for individual activities such as weight lifting, racquetball, aerobics, and more.
“Fall Freeze” and “Spring Fever Week” are weeks set aside each semester for a little stress relief. Costume contests and haunted houses in the fall, and pool parties and crawfish boils in the spring are just part of the fun.
The African-American Student Organization, Baptist Student Union, Wesley Foundation, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Phi Theta Kappa are just some of the more than 30 student organizations and clubs available to JCJC students.
Campus life is a combination of academic, social, and recreational opportunities. Get involved. It’s a great way to meet and make new friends.
