This is a grant funded program awarded to nonprofit organizations located in Meridian and Lauderdale County, MS, to hire a college student for the summer to perform a specific project.  All undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a Mississippi  college or university, who plan to return to school in the fall, are eligible to apply.  Please note:  Four housing scholarships are available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Create email distribution list of volunteers.  Update current website by creating templates for:  various levels of disaster classes; notification of training classes, dates, time and place; chat room for emergency services; secure page for monetary donations designated for victims and volunteer job opportunities.
