LIFELONG LEARNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Lifelong Learning invites everyone to attend a presentation by Ms. Florence Blaylock Thursday, February 21 at 10:00 in the Home and Health auditorium. Ms. Blaylock will speak about her aunt Annie Knight who is the first black woman missionary to India in and who is from Jasper County, Mississippi.
We are preparing for a digital photography class to be announced soon. Get your cameras ready for those spring shots!
Starting the week of Feb. 18, we are starting up Beginning Guitar class. You may register the first night of the class—bring your acoustic guitar and join us! First class meeting is Monday night, Feb. 18, at 6:00 p.m. in the projection room of the media center upstairs in the library.
The “Bobcats Read,“ the JCJC book club will meet Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 1:00 in the projection room upstairs in the library to discuss Flannery O’Connor’s novel The Violent Bear It Away.
