ELLISVILLE – Jones County Junior College head coach Don Skelton has added another player to his 2009 basketball signing class.
Kadeem Fleming, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard from Port Gibson High School, recently signed with the Bobcats. Fleming averaged 18.5 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists per game for coach Kim Windhom’s team.
He made the All-Region 6-4A team in his junior and senior seasons and was an All-South State selection his junior season. He was a McDonald’s High School All-American nominee and was Most Valuable Player of his high school team as a junior and a senior. He was rated the No. 14 player in Mississippi as a senior by Hoop Scoop.
JCJC’s other signees include forward Torrey Brown of Northwest Rankin, guard Glen Collins of Jackson Provine, guard Henry Harris of Warren Central, forward Tiaj Kelly of Richton, guard Demetrious Lee of Pass Christian, forward Andrew Marshall of Pascagoula and forward Rico Rankins of Wayne County.
