WESSON – Jones County Junior College posted a pair of soccer shutouts here Saturday evening.

The Lady Bobcats blanked the Co-Lin Lady Wolves, 3-0. Bridget Dennis scored off an assist from Lauren Williams, Lanie Jenkins scored off an assist by Lenzi Weems and Williams scored a goal off an assist by Jamie Miller. JCJC is now 5-2 overall and 2-2 in the South Division.

In the men’s game, the Bobcats posted a 2-0 decision. Jonathan Jones and Jerret Chism scored for JCJC. Jones improves to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in division play.

The Bobcat men's team will travel to Southwest at 4 p.m. Monday for a makeup game.

The Lady Bobcats will travel to East Central for a 3 p.m. game on Wednesday, while the men’s team goes to East Central for a 3 p.m. game on Thursday. The teams will host East Mississippi on Saturday, Oct. 3. The men’s game begins at 1 p.m., followed by the women’s game at 3 p.m.
