APPLICATION

Submit a Completed Admissions Application to Jones
Future students can (1) Apply Online, (2) Download an admissions application, or (3) submit the completed application from the Admissions packet available on campus.

FINANCIAL AID

File you FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), which is also known as Pell Grant online at fafsa.ed.gov as soon as possible after January 1. The priority deadline for FAFSA is May 1 for the upcoming school year. FAFSA forms and worksheets are available at JONES or by contacting your high school counselor. Include JONES' code – 002411.

TESTING

Take the ACT/SAT and request scores be sent to Jones. The JCJC code is 2206. A Residual ACT is offered several times a month throughout the year. Contact the JCJC Student Success Center at (601) 477-4257 for testing dates or additional information.

TRANSCRIPTS - HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR COLLEGE

If you have graduated from high school and never attended college: Request an official copy of the final high school transcript be mailed to JONES.

If you have attended or graduated from college and would like to return to Jones:
Request an offical copy of the final transcript from any previous college(s) attended be sent to the Jones admissions office at the address above. NOTE: Applicants must be eligible to return in good standing to the college last attended. Other admissions requirements may apply.

ORIENTATION/EARLY REGISTRATION

The Non-traditional Student Success Center will offer early registration for spring classes to transfer and previously enrolled students beginning November 7, 2011. Academic counselors are available to make class schedules with students. To schedule an appointment, contact the SSC at (601) 477-5439.
