ACTIVITIES

PBL'S Community Service Activities Include:

 Special Olympics--Students coordinate an event each year in Special Olympics when special students come to the JCJC Campus to participate in athletic events.

 Toys for Tots Program at Christmas--Students donate toys to the Toys for Tots Program which enables needy children to celebrate Christmas with gifts under their tree.

 Adopt a Highway--Academic PBL adopted a stretch of Hwy 11 in Ellisville. Students meet four times a year to pick up litter along this stretch of highway.

 March of Dimes--Students donate money to the March of Dimes each year to help fight birth defects.

PBL'S Fundraising Activities Include:

 Academic PBL along with Technical PBL sponsors the Southern District Conference for FBLA Students. Approximately 800 to 1000 high school students along with their advisors come to campus each spring to participate in FBLA competition.

 During the fall semester, students sell time-management planners. Proceeds are used to finance the trip to the National Fall Leadership Conference.
