Faculty Association Meeting 12:00 and 1:00 Meetings March 28, 2007 Bob Smith called meetings (12:00 and 1:00) to order and an opening prayer was brought. March minutes and current financial statements were read and accepted. No old business was discussed, but new business included issuing payroll deduction forms. Faculty and Staff Association dues will be taken out of May checks for members preferring to use the payroll deduction option. Voting procedures were discussed, but no motion was brought to the floor. Door prizes were drawn for and awarded. Anna Brashier presented an informative PowerPoint presentation and discussion on getting and staying healthy. Topics included appropriate portion sizes, measuring portions, fats, and really getting your money's worth when it comes to food. An informative handout was issued with recaps of her presentation and additional food tips. Bob thanked everyone and meeting adjourned.
