Also, bill 246 relates to $75 million in bond money which may not be popular with the governor. The fitness center is expected to be open when we return from spring break. Delores Deasley has been hired as its manager. Membership in the JCJC fitness center and the Wellness Center in Laurel may be reciprocal. Our center will be small to start and grow as money allows. How do we bridge the animosity between the faculty association and administration? Dr. Smith supports us 100%. He feels that the association needs to be strong and to grow. Do you support the association for Capital Day? Yes. We can be very organized. We need representatives from JCJC who know who the legislators are and be able to tell them that we need their support. See Mr. Kelly and volunteer How could faculty members and staff members get to know who each other are? Socials, introductions at meetings, and name badges were discussed.
