ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY OPTIONS

AUTOMATION AND CONTROL

 The Automation and Control Technology emphasis in Electronics Technology prepares students to be technical specialists with broad-based electro-mechanical skills who are familiar with electronic and mechanical systems that make up robotic, computer numerical control, or processing equipment and can set up and interface machines with programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) that work together as part of a total automated system. Upon completion of the two-year program of study, the student will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology.
