| Half-Time Rules | ||||||
|
Dr. Bradberry referred to the Half-time policies as stated on page 28 of the Athletics Handbook for Mississippi Community Colleges. The official position is that for 2 performing bands the clock should be set at 12 minutes for each band, beginning when the football players, coaches and officials have cleared the field. If there is only one performing band, the clock should be set sat 20 minutes. Dr. Bradberry stated that the officials are supposed to know this as well. Any grievances should be handled in a letter by the college president and submitted to Dr. Bradberry. Tracy Irby stated that at one game last fall (with Hinds at a visiting band), the clock had been set to 26 minutes and that the home band had been allowed 14 minutes to perform. |
