Minutes September, 7 2001

| The meeting was called to order by Tom Carson | ||||||
|
Dr. Bradberry was not in attendance. All State will
be held on the campus of Mississippi State on January 24-26. Mark Camphouse
will be the clinician. The tryout date is Friday, January 18, at Holmes.
Accommodations are to be made with the Ramada Inn in Starkville at a
cost of $57.00 per night. At the clinic we will be treated to the MSU
Wind Ensemble on Friday night and the All State Concert will take place
before the honor band concerts. All of those students will be in attendance.
It was stated that a loading and unloading crew would be needed for
the percussion equipment. We were also reminded to bring music stands.

| Try out piece (C) and new music selections will be submitted for auditions prior to the December meeting. Rehearsals will begin at 1:00 Thursday with the concert on Saturday. | ||||||
| The December meeting will take place at Mary Mahoney's at 12:00 on Friday, December 7, during State Band Clinic. | ||||||
| Big thanks from the association to Tracy and Randy for a great meal and great meeting place. | ||||||
