JC GUITAR ENSEMBLE
The Jones County Junior College Guitar Ensemble, as shown during the annual Mississippi Community College Guitar festival.
The JCJC Guitar Ensemble (MUO 1141, 1151, 2141, 2151) offers unique group-based performing opportunities to students of the guitar. This ensemble meets Thursdays at 1:00, with students receiving one hour of credit upon successful completion of the semester requirements. The guitar ensemble is required for Guitar Majors who have completed or have the equivalent experience of MUA 1272, and is also open to Music Minors and Non-Majors with approval of the instructor.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of either MUA 1272 (Guitar Music-Ed I), MUA 1241 (Guitar Non-Major I) or MUA 1211 (Class Guitar I), or with permission of the instructor. Concurrent enrollment in applied guitar lessons in also required for participation in Guitar Ensemble.
