Additional course information:

  1. Technical Certificate is offered in two formats:
    • Daytime classes—All classes are offered Monday-Friday from 7:30am until 12:30pm for fall and spring semesters
    • Evening classes—All classes are offered on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:00-9:00 pm for fall and spring semesters
    • Summer classes—Day and evening classes are offered during the summer semester.
  2. Students who lack entry level skills in math or English will be provided related studies. 
  3. Baseline competencies are taken from the Mississippi Department of Education Curriculum Framework.  High school students who can document mastery of these competencies will not receive duplicate instruction.  Students who cannot demonstrate mastery will be required to do so.
  4. Students successfully completing the first two semesters of coursework will receive a technical certificate.  Additional technical electives are available upon completion of the certificate.
