The Marketing Management Technology program at Jones County Junior College is designed to meet the needs of today's marketing manager. With this as our goal, the Marketing Management Technology program is divided into two areas of interest --- Business Management and Fashion Merchandising.
In our Business Management curriculum, courses in applied marketing, management, retailing, computer concepts, entrepreneurship and advertising/sales promotion provide our students with comprehensive business basics while developing the necessary critical thinking skills that the managers of today and tomorrow must possess.
Our two-year Associate of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising prepares students who are interested in pursuing such careers as retail fashion buyer or perhaps a boutique owner. Students concentrate on courses in merchandise selection and pricing, visual merchandising, fashion presentation and textiles. The students are introduced to introductory courses in computers, applied marketing, management and sales.
Careers in small business management or ownership, advertising, sales promotion, public relations, and entrance into management training programs are just a few career opportunities available to graduates of the Marketing Management Technology program at Jones County Junior College.
