PHARMACY ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are currently accepting applications for the fall semester.
The Pharmacy Technology Program is now accepting applications for the fall semester. We are also allowing open enrollment into our Pharmacy Math and Dosage Calculations course for the spring semester for anyone interested in either our program or in medical math in general.
At the recent Awards Banquet of the Mississippi Pharmacists Association, Marsha Sanders, RPh. was presented the 2007 Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award by Ms. Lee Ann James of Elan Pharmaceuticals. This award is given to the Mississippi Pharmacist whose practice of the profession of pharmacy exemplifies creatitivity and originality. Mrs. Sanders is the Pharmacy Technology Program Instructor at Jones County Junior College. The JC program is the only pharmacy technician program in Mississippi from which students may earn an associate degree. Graduates of the program have a 99.8 % passing rate on the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam since the program's inception in 1998.
