WELDING SHORT-TERM WORKSHOPS
Jones County Junior College Advanced Metalworking Center of Excellence offers short-term workshops to prepare adults for job-specific welding skills. Workshops are hosted in Covington, Jasper, Greene, and Jones counties and are customized to meet the needs of local employers. Times, length of program, entrance requirements, and fees for customized training vary among locations. The following workshops are open to the general public. Course fees are dependent upon state workforce funding and are subject to change. Students are responsible for their own personal protective equipment such welding hood, safety glasses, welding gloves, etc.
