2008 President's Report
Community Inspiration
Part of the Jones mission is to reach its community, and through its many services it not only reaches people, but it also inspires them.
Take, for instance, the following:
- elementary school children who are inspired to love reading after being visited by Jones students from the English Honor Society,
- the child care children who get a special visit and a story read to them by the Mayor
- someone in the community who finds a job at the annual Job Fair
- the high school senior who sees the potential they would have at Jones during a visit to the campus for band, choir, or student council meetings
- or maybe the cancer survivor who is inspired to return to school when they see Jones students and faculty participating in Relay for Life.
In some way, at some time, in each person’s life, Jones inspires.
