Opening Remarks
Our new college slogan is “Inspiring Greatness.” To inspire greatness is an ambitious, yet attainable goal. Over the last year, these words have served as the guiding force in our strategies and our actions at Jones. We collectively believe that we can provide an environment that encourages students to achieve greatness.
To inspire greatness, we strive to provide students with opportunities for growth, both in and out of the classroom, as well as to offer a support system that ensures their success. All of our major initiatives at Jones are designed to inspire our students to discover an educational path that works—one that makes us all productive citizens in our communities.
Here at Jones, we are committed to inspiring greatness for generations to come. As the global market changes, we will embrace that change as a necessary component for our growth as a college. We will work each and every day to better ourselves and the quality of life of our students.
Our faculty and staff, who are driven by a true sense of purpose, are fortunate to have support and commitment from our alumni and community leaders. We understand and appreciate the role of quality education and its impact on our communities.
As president, I am blessed to have such a capable group of individuals to work with each and every day. I am humbled by their leadership abilities and loyalty to the college. I am equally thankful for the love, support, and sacrifice of my family as I have worked toward achieving the goals set for the college.
It is my hope that our unfolding story at Jones inspires you as well.
