Leaders That Inspire

Jones inspires its students to become leaders of tomorrow by introducing them to the leaders of today. Many of our state political leaders have visited Jones over the past year.

Jones students saw a first-ever event this past spring when former President Bill Clinton visited the campus to campaign for his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton.

Jones faculty and students make an annual visit to the Capitol to thank legislators for their support of our college.

This year, thanks to the high-caliber faculty and the politicians who see the value in the state’s community colleges, Mississippi’s two-year colleges were ranked fourth in the nation by a government study.
