Bobcats fight for state championship
Early James completed two touchdown passes to Tebiarus Gill-a 24-yarder and an 18- yarder-as the JCJC Bobcats compiled 409 yards of total offense only to come up short of a state championship at A.L. May Memorial Stadium in Perkinston, losing to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College 20-17.

Jones finishes season 9-2
The No. 6 ranked Bobcats concluded a 9-2 season after falling to Gulf Coast 20- 17 in the state championship game.

Ladies start season 4-0
The JCJC Lady Bobcats opened the 2007-08 basketball schedule by reeling off four straight victories.
