NEW STUDENTS
Early Registration for New Students
New Students should begin the registration process by completing an Application for Admission. Upon receiving an activated Jones ID number, students may make an appointment for Summer Orientation.
The JC Portal is a web-based information system that allows students to enroll in classes, print schedules, view financial accounts, and more. A User ID and Password must be entered to access the system.
User ID = W (UPPER CASE) and Jones ID #
Example: – if your ID # is 0987654, your User ID will be W0987654
Password – initial password will be first two letters of your first and last name (UPPER CASE) followed by the last 4 digits of your Jones ID #.
Example: – If your name is Joe Student with an ID # 0987654, your password will be JOST7654
To register for summer 2010 classes, new students must make an appointment with the Student Success Center by calling 601-477-4149.
To register for fall 2010 classes, new students are required to make an appointment for an Orientation/Registration session:
Orientation Dates:
- Monday June 14
- Wednesday June 30
- Thursday July 15
- Tuesday July 27
New students may make an appointment for one of these dates by calling 601-477-4030.
Traditional Registration for New Students
New Students who miss Early Registration may attend Traditional Registration for summer or fall classes.
