Dolores Deasley was named the head women’s soccer coach at Jones County Junior College in January of 2008.
She had served as an assistant coach for the 2007 season.
Deasley received a B.S. degree in Education from Hofstra University in 2004 and her masters in Sports Management from the University of Southern Mississippi where she was an assistant for the Lady Eagles soccer program.
During her senior year at Hofstra University, Dolores was named Female Student-Athlete of the Year, the Colonial Athletic Association’s Defensive Player of the Year, first-team All-CAA, third-team All-American, and first-team All-Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Soccer Buzz magazine. Deasley, a member of the Irish National Soccer Team since 1999, has also played for the New York Magic, the Long Island Lady Riders and was a Women’s Premier Soccer League national champion with the Long Island Fury. Deasley, a native of Drumkeen, Ireland, is the daughter of William and Bridget Deasley and has five brothers and four sisters.
