All expenses shown above must be paid upon registration. These expenses do not include book expenses, laboratory fees, or other miscellaneous fees and charges.

DEFINITIONS OF STATUS
Full-time students are those enrolled in 12 or more hours in a semester. Part-time students are those enrolled in less than 12 hours in a semester. Legal residents of the State of Mississippi meet the criteria set forth in Section 37-103, Mississippi Code of 1972, Recompiled. A copy of this Section of the Code is available in the Business Office, the Admissions and Records Office, and Student Services.

REGISTRATION FEE
Full-time students will pay a $30.00 per semester registration fee. This fee will be $18.00 per semester for part-time students. The registration fee is not refundable.

GENERAL FEE
All full-time students will be charged a general fee of $874.00 per semester. Students enrolling in 20 or more hours will be charged a fee of $80.00 for each hour over 19. The general fee must be paid upon registration. Failure to pay this fee will result in the student’s withdrawal from classes, with charges being computed according to the
published refund policy.

PART-TIME FEE
Part-time students are charged a fee of $80.00 per semester hour in lieu of the general fee. Non-residents will pay $170.00 per semester hour. Full-time students who become part-time students on or before 10/13/06 or 10/12/07 during the fall semester or 03/09/07 or 03/07/08 during the spring semester are subject to the part-time student fee. A residence hall student who becomes a part-time student must move out of the residence hall and continue his/her studies as a commuting student. Part-time students are entitled to course privileges only. Fees for classes offered at off-campus locations will be announced prior to registration for the course.

JONES COUNTY JUNIOR COLLEGE TECHNOLOGY FEE
All students will be charged a technology fee of $3.00 per semester hour, not to exceed $36.00 for any one semester. These fees will be used to maintain up-to-date technology on campus.

OUT-OF-STATE TUITION
There will be an out-of-state charge of $ 170.00 per semester hour, not to exceed $1000.00, for all students who are not legal residents of the State of Mississippi. Out-of-state tuition is due and payable at the beginning of each semester.
