About the Program

The Access to Opportunity for Healthcare Students grant provides tuition assistance for eligible Jones College healthcare students who are nearing completion of their certification or degree. This support is designed to help students overcome financial barriers, stay enrolled, and complete the final steps toward entering the healthcare workforce.

Award Information

Eligible students may receive up to $1,000 toward tuition. Awards are applied directly to the student’s outstanding tuition balance.

If a student’s balance is less than $1,000, the grant will only cover the amount owed. No refund will be issued for any remaining award amount.

Eligibility

To be considered, students must:

1) Be enrolled in a qualifying Jones College healthcare program

2) Be in their final two semesters before earning their certification or graduating

3) Have an outstanding tuition balance

4) Submit a completed application for assistance

Application Requirement

Students must include a detailed paragraph explaining their need for tuition assistance and how this grant would impact their ability to complete their program. This response is an important part of the application review process.

Important Information

Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until all available funds have been exhausted. Once funds are depleted, no additional awards will be made.

Information submitted through the application may be used for reporting purposes and shared with The Bower Foundation.
