The Mississippi Community College Board report on the 10th day of the fall semester report for Jones College shows:
■ 5,057 Headcount
■ 63,341 Semester Credit Hours
Fall 2010 headcount was 5,740. Fall 2025 enrollment was the highest we have seen since Fall 2010 and the highest enrollment in 15 years.
Comparatively, over last fall 2024 figures, Jones College shows a 1.2% growth in headcount and 2.4% growth in Semester Credit Hours for a 12% increase over fall 2023. As a whole, the state community college’s enrollment has grown by 5.3%.
JC’s online semester credit hours grew 6%, as more students are taking one or more online classes.
Jones College reports a 3.5% program growth in enrollment in Career and Technical programs. Most notably, the following eight programs showed significant growth in enrollment this fall:
■ 55.6% growth – Pharmacy Technician Program transitioned to a hybrid program
■ 30.5% growth – EMT
■ 29.8% growth – Automotive Technology
■ 28.7% growth – Electromechanical
■ 22.7% growth – Marketing Management Technology
■ 14% growth – Childcare Program went online this year
■ 9% growth – Business Office Technology
■ Farm and Ranch Management has almost doubled this year. It was brand new last year and has seen great traction.
Jones College is continuing to enroll students for the October eight-week session beginning on October 20.
Spring 2026 registration will begin on October 13.
