All Jones College students and upcoming freshmen expecting to be fulltime Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 are strongly encouraged to apply below. The Priority deadline is March 31, 2023.

Foundation scholarships are made possible because of the generous contributions of alumni, friends, and businesses who have made Jones College students a priority in their giving. The JCJC Foundation, Inc., is proud to offer scholarships established for all types of students…incoming freshman, upcoming sophomores, continuing sophomores, GED graduates, and non-traditional students.

Recipients are selected based upon criteria of each particular scholarship. The minimum requirement is 2.5 Cumulative GPA and full-time status. Other types of criteria have to do with such things as:

  • County
  • High school attended
  • Academics
  • Financial need
  • Character/citizenship
  • Volunteerism
  • Major
  • Leadership
  • Parent’s/guardian’s place of employment
  • Participation in band, music group, or other campus activities

 

HELPFUL STEPS FOR APPLYING

1. Create a scholarship resume’ to upload with your application. File types accepted are .pdf, .doc, .docx.
2. Click on APPLY NOW button at the bottom of this page. This will take you to the on-line application. There are four groups of information which will be requested: Personal Information, Academic Information, Financial Information, and Qualification Questions.
3. After you enter all information requested, you will be asked to UPLOAD your scholarship resume’.
4. Click on “SUBMIT”. Your application has been submitted to the JCJC Foundation office. You will NOT be allowed to complete the application without uploading the resume’ and clicking on “SUBMIT”.

A GOOD SCHOLARSHIP RESUME’ will have Name, Address, and the following sections:
  • Education
  • Extracurricular Activities
  • Work Experience
  • Leadership Experience
  • Community Services
  • Long/Short Term Goals
  • Honors/Accomplishments/Awards
  • High School/College Activities
