The JCJC Foundation, Inc. hosts Day of Giving for one reason only, our Jones Family students.

At the JCJC Foundation, Inc., our dedication to nurturing a legacy of generosity and embodying the spirit of our community is central to our mission, especially when it comes to hosting the Day of Giving. This event is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a testament to our commitment to the students of the Jones Family, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.

Our last Day of Giving was a remarkable success, raising over $100,000. This achievement directly benefited our students, enhancing their educational journey. The contributions, regardless of size, were a collective effort to open more doors for our students, helping them to pursue their educational aspirations.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Day of Giving is set for November 28, 2023. This event is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to creating a culture of support and opportunity within our community.

Donating to our Jones College Foundation can be done in several ways.

  1. * Donate on the phone by calling (601) 477-4145 anytime on November 28th from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  2. * Stop by and donate in person at our Foundation Office on the third floor of Jones Hall from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We would love to have you visit campus.

Gifts of Cash

The advantage of cash gifts is that your actual out-of-pocket cost is less than the dollar amount of the gift because of the allowable income tax deduction. You can deduct up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income in the year you make a contribution. Any excess contributions above this percentage may be deducted over a five-year period.

Actual savings from the tax deduction on your gift will vary due to your tax rate and other factors. Generally, the higher your tax rate, the greater your savings.
