Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, and until further notice, the college will hold all classes and related coursework online. Please log in to Canvas to view your coursework and instructor communication. Students enrolled in CTE programs that require skill set evaluations may utilize hybrid (on-line and small group) formats.
All Jones College facilities are closed to the public until further notice. Only essential college personnel, approved student’s accessing WiFi, approved vendors, approved contractors, and approved guests are allowed on campus during the campus closure.
Effective Monday, March 30, 2020, Jones College will have one entrance to campus. All Jones College streets will be closed for public use. Those entering campus must enter through the Highway 590 Bypass entrance see Campus Map. Campus passes will be issued to all visitors excluding employees and students. Employees and students must display official Jones College Parking Permit upon approval of entry.
Visitors requesting access to the Walking Trail, Bobcat Stadium Track, Frisbee Course, must provide identification. A limited number of visitors will be allowed to access these areas.
The Campus Fitness Center, Field House, and Softball Fitness Centers are closed until further notice.
If you are a Jones College student and need assistance in securing access to a computer in order to complete your courses in a Learn from Home format, please complete the Technology Accessibility Survey (survey link: https://forms.gle/gpy5zH1vb2hcrZoX9) located in Canvas.
Wifi will be available to Jones College students in three locations on the main Ellisville campus see Campus Map – the East and West parking lot of McClellan Hall, the South parking lot of the King Chemistry Center, and the South parking lot of the Thomas-Harris Science Buidling. Students can be granted guest access to campus for the use of Wifi Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Additional access points will be available in coming weeks.
2020 Summer and Fall open enrollment that was scheduled to begin Wednesday, March 25, has been delayed until Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
All events hosted by Jones College or in a Jones College facility have been suspended indefinitely.
All Spring Athletics have been canceled by NJCAA.
The Jones College Graduation Commencement Ceremonies scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2020, have been postponed at this time.
The format and frequency of quizzes, tests, and exams will vary among courses and instructors. In an effort to minimize potential exposure to the virus, on-campus proctored testing will not be an option at this time. Some instructors may choose to utilize virtual proctoring. Please refer to Canvas for an updated syllabus that will help you navigate the remainder of the semester.
The Jones College Campus Clinic will offer mobile services to our campus community (students and employees) beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, until further notice. The Mobile Clinic will operate Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment with Mobile Clinic, send an email to CampusClinic@jcjc.edu.
Prorated student housing refunds will be issued by Monday, May 11, 2020, Notification of your refund will be sent through campus email.

Jones College continues to monitor the spread of the COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus 2019. Based on a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States and many other countries are affected.
The CDC issued, March 9, 2020, its recommendations to Institutions of Higher Education (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/student-foreign-travel.html) with students who are participating in international travel or study abroad programs.
