Don’t miss out—secure your spot in campus housing now! It’s the perfect way to stay connected, make lifelong friends, and truly feel at home at Jones College. Campus housing is designed to support the developmental, social, and academic needs of full-time, traditional-age undergraduate students. Therefore, residence halls are reserved for students age 18–24 who are enrolled full-time. There is a $50.00 NON-Refundable processing fee to complete the housing application.

Step 1 for becoming a Jones College resident is to Complete the Jones College Application for Admission. Step 2 is to complete the Housing Application, and step 3 (optional) would to be application for a position as a Resident Assistant (RA). Only JC housing students may apply.

Residence Hall Information

All residents are required to choose either a 5-day or 7-day meal plan. Details about each plan and instructions for making your selection will be sent to your Jones College email.

Laundry facilities are available at no cost in both the men's and women's residence halls.

Students living in campus housing are required to have a parking decal. Residents may park only in the designated areas surrounding their residence halls. Resident decals must remain in campus housing parking areas until after 1:00 p.m. each day.

Each residence hall has a designated trash area for daily pickup. All trash must be placed in a 13-gallon trash bag before disposal.

  • Pillow, sheets, blanket, or comforter
  • Towels, plastic shower caddy, shower slippers, hairdryer, trashcan, tissues, first-aid kit, toiletries
  • Toilet paper
  • 13-gallon trash bag and can for your own personal trash
  • Cleaning products for cleaning your suite and room
  • Broom, dustpan, and mop; if you have a rug, you will need a vacuum
  • Computer, alarm clock, flashlight, TV, desk lamp, power strip, and connecting cords
  • Laundry bag/basket, laundry detergent, clothes hangers
  • Backpack, calendar, school supplies; umbrella, raincoat, and other wet weather necessities
  • Refrigerator and microwave (limit one refrigerator no larger than 4.5 cubic feet and one microwave 1000 watts or less per room)
  • Student ID, Social Security card, driver’s license or passport, insurance card, checks, credit or debit card
  • Copies of prescriptions (prescriptions should be kept in their original container with the owner’s name on it)
  • Hot plates or toaster ovens
  • Pets of any kind
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Weapons (including real or replica items)
  • Candles, incense, or fireworks
  • Controlled substances or drug paraphernalia
  • Hunting bows, air guns, or paintball guns
