Welcome

Welcome to the Charles Pickering Honors Institute. We are pleased that you are considering this program. Congratulations on your excellent high school record of academic accomplishment. You are a very select group of students and we are pleased that you are considering continuing your education at Jones College.
Students will find that the Honors Institute is here to challenge them to go beyond the ordinary ideas about education, personal expectations and personal leadership goals while encouraging independent learning and expanded leadership. The Honors Institute is also a place where students find assistance and inspiration to grow.
Jones has a reputation for excellence! Throughout their time in the Honors Institute, students will get the opportunity to experience that excellence. The primary focus of the program will be on personal development of the individual student. Together, we will form a partnership to help you realize your dreams and set you on a path to make them come true.
