Jones County Junior College (Jones College) offers a variety of academic programs leading to an Associate in Arts degree. Also offered are numerous career and technical programs leading to either a vocational certificate or an Associate in Applied Science degree. Jones County Junior College is an "open-door admissions institution General admission to the college requires one of the following: graduation from an accredited high school, an official transcript with 19 appropriate academic units from an accredited high school, acceptable GED scores, or transfer from an accredited college. Some programs have additional admission requirements. Resources are available to individuals with disabilities. Disabilities include any physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more major life activities such as caring for oneself, performing manual tasks, seeing, hearing, eating, sleeping, walking, standing, lifting, bending, speaking, breathing, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating, and working.

Students applying to selective admissions programs must meet general college admission requirements, as well as admission requirements specific to the individual program or course of study.
