If you want to own your own business, this is the path for you.

Learn ways to work from home as well as in a traditional business setting training you to be your own boss, incorporating flexible hours, and creating a path to watch investments and sales grow.

The fast-track 15-hour arrangement of courses can be completed online or as a combination of online and face-to-face courses that match personalized potential areas of business interest. Completed in a shorter time period than a degree, the Entrepreneur program can be beneficial as a stand alone area of study or on top of coursework to achieve an AAS degree in Marketing Management or alongside majors in horticulture, welding, truck driving and cosmetology.

Students will earn a credential through Certiport, a nationally recognized program in the area of Entrepreneurship and Small Business. Modules taught include: The Entrepreneur, Opportunity Recognition, Starting a Business, Business Operations, Marketing and Sales, and Financial Management.

Curriculum

How to Enroll

  • Step 1 - Complete a Jones Admissions Application.
  • Step 2 - Send an official copy of the final high school transcript, previous college transcript, and/or GED scores to the Jones Admissions Office.
  • Step 3 - Submit ACT/SAT scores to the Jones Admissions Office.
